Schizophrenia affects 20 million people worldwide, and we donβt exactly know how it develops, or what causes it yet. However, some research has found that it might be an autoimmune condition.
The hypothesis that the immune system is a reason for Schizophrenia is well covered by Karolinska Institute. This thus is how the brain has activated the brain immune system with all subjects being Schizophrenic.
At least we know how this is, but we don’t know the medicine that is needed.
To clearly eliminate the condition of Schizophrenia we need medicine that truly can turn off the immune system in the brain.
